We are now looking for an occupational therapist for Vårdcentralen Sjöcrona in Höganäs. Here, you will become an important part of a multidisciplinary team working together to provide patients with accessible, high-quality care.

Located centrally in Höganäs with good transport links and free parking, Vårdcentralen Sjöcrona is situated on the Kulla peninsula, close to the sea and nature. Employees from various professions work together here to provide care to approximately 9,300 registered patients. At the health center, we work in multidisciplinary teams where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and patient needs are at the forefront.

You will work closely with your occupational therapy colleague at Vårdcentralen Delfinen, and together you will plan and develop the work within the practice. Within our area, units collaborate closely to leverage competence, strengthen continuity, and create a safe and sustainable work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist with us, you will have a broad and varied assignment involving clinic visits, home visits, and group interventions. You will meet patients of all ages and work independently while maintaining close collaboration with other professions at the health center.

You will contribute your expertise to increase the individual's independence and participation in daily activities. You are the first point of contact for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow, and you are responsible for the fitting and manufacturing of orthoses. Duties also include activity and function assessments, rehabilitation, prescription of assistive devices, and participation in cognitive assessments.

Counseling is a central part of the work, both through individual patient contacts and through educational initiatives for different patient groups. You will also work with patients who have chronic pain or stress-related issues, and there is an opportunity to work with health-oriented conversations. Home visits and follow-ups are planned based on patient needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Regarding the formal requirements for the position, we welcome you if you are a licensed occupational therapist with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is also a requirement. We would prefer that you have worked for a few years in the profession and have experience within primary care as well as the PMO system.
