The Medical Operations Area at Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) is a large, cohesive operation encompassing both planned and emergency care. Within this operation, we have units within hematology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, nephrology, gastroenterology, neurology/stroke, endocrinology, and rheumatology. The Cardiac Intensive Care and Coronary Angiography unit is part of the cardiology section within the Medical Operations Area at CSK.

When it is urgent, everyone needs to know what to do. We need someone who likes a high-pressure environment and who can maintain their calm even in acute situations. Since we are a smaller unit and often collaborate closely between professional groups, we are like a well-oiled machine when the pressure is on. We care for patients who require a higher degree of monitoring, which means we have fewer patients but closer contact and higher presence with each individual than in many other operations. In our work, we also use a lot of medical technical equipment, which I find very developing, says Rassmus, a nurse at the Cardiac Intensive Care unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse with us, you will have varying tasks with a focus on specialized medicine within cardiology. The tasks include, among other things, caring for critically ill patients, rhythm and ECG interpretation, and handling of medical technical equipment.

It is important to us that you feel secure in your role from the start. When you start with us, we therefore create a plan for your individual training together based on your needs and previous experience. To promote competence development, we offer both internal and external training regarding specific work tasks. You also have the opportunity to undergo other training related to your interests and the operation's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. In addition, you have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Experience within cardiology, medical technology, and emergency care is meritorious but not a requirement.

We are looking for you who put the patient's needs at the center and are structured, flexible, and independent. Furthermore, you can take initiative, are meticulous, driven, and can organize and prioritize tasks. It is important that you have a good ability to collaborate with others and that you have a positive attitude towards work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
