Working as an assistant nurse means working with one of the best and most enriching things there is – helping to make everyday life meaningful for our customers. A professional approach and good treatment are a matter of course for us. We constantly work with a customer focus, where we have the customers' needs and wishes at the center. An important part of the work is to work in a team around the customer for a good overall perspective. The work includes being a contact person and holding one or more areas of responsibility. With us, you are offered varied work with nursing interventions, activities, and delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are an assistant nurse and have passed the Care and Support Program or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding a protected professional title is meritorious. Education in psychiatry or dementia care is also meritorious, as is previous experience of working in care and support and/or in care and support housing.

Since communication and documentation are part of your duties, you need to have experience with documentation and computers, as well as proficiency in Swedish in both speech and writing.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we are looking for you who are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. Furthermore, you have a professional approach and good cooperation skills. You have a flexible attitude that promotes a good work environment and a solution-focused approach in your cooperation with customers, relatives, and colleagues.

Österängsgården is a care and support housing centrally located in Kristianstad, offering support and nursing care to our customers. Here we work closely together in an engaged team where cooperation, respect, and good treatment are a natural part of everyday life. In the operations, we work person-centered and base ourselves on each customer's needs, resources, and wishes. Our goal is to create security, participation, and be a valuable support for the people we meet. The work is characterized by close cooperation between assistant nurses, nurses, and rehabilitation staff, where we together contribute to a holistic view of the customer.

Österängsgården is a residence with 6 departments, one of which is general and the others focused on dementia. There are well-functioning public transport connections to get here.

The Care Administration's operations are directed towards the elderly and persons who need functional support, as well as persons who need home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and support housing, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the Assistive Technology Centre in Eastern Skåne.
