The Adult Psychiatry area in Helsingborg has clinics and teams located in Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. All inpatient care is provided in Helsingborg. We provide specialized psychiatric care and treatment for patients with severe mental health issues. The catchment area consists of ten municipalities in northwestern Scania, with which we have a good collaboration through cooperation meetings and care planning.

Ward 56 is a general psychiatric emergency care ward for inpatient care, as well as a training and development ward, aimed at patients over 18 years old. Here, we treat patients with conditions and illnesses across the entire psychiatric diagnostic spectrum. We also have a specific assignment for specialized eating disorder care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to become our new colleague? We are now welcoming a nurse or psychiatric nurse to our ward!

Here, you work in a care team together with care assistants and assistant nurses, where you have the role of the responsible nurse for nursing care. In close collaboration with patients, relatives, and colleagues, you are responsible for care planning and contribute to person-centered and safe care based on each patient's individual needs.

We work according to Safewards, a model that promotes a safe care environment for both patients and staff. Your responsibilities include, among other things, documentation, ward rounds, medication management, nursing interventions, and supervision of students according to the peer-learning model. Together with your colleagues, you strive for high patient safety and high-quality care.

As part of Helsingborg University Hospital, there are also good opportunities to engage in research. The department has its own research network that meets regularly and supports employees with an interest in research.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a registered nurse with the authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. You also have Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is highly meritorious if you have specialist education in psychiatry. Previous experience working in adult psychiatry and psychiatric care is also meritorious.

As a person, you are empathetic, sensitive, and responsible, with a very good approach towards both patients and colleagues. You have a high ability to act and a structured work method, and you have the ability to make independent decisions when necessary. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys working in teams and is happy to share your knowledge and experiences. Through your engagement and constructive attitude, you contribute to our good work climate. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
