Your role with us

As a specialist nursing assistant with us, you are offered a varied job where you combine care work with contributing your specialist knowledge to the operations. The role involves performing care measures and providing support to customers in their own homes, while working in a team together with colleagues, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Through supervision and knowledge sharing, you support colleagues and contribute to the development of working methods that strengthen the quality of care and support work. You also serve as support for the permanent contact person and other staff in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of measures. As a specialist nursing assistant, you play an important role in developing and improving the quality of the operations by contributing to knowledge development and strengthened competence in the work team.

The work also includes administrative tasks such as documentation in the journal, drawing up implementation plans, and working with risk assessments.

The work involves shifts during the day, evening, and weekends.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are trained as a specialist nursing assistant. You need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Experience in supervising or training colleagues is meritorious. Likewise, if you have experience in quality and development work in operations.

As a person, you are engaged, responsible, and have a genuine interest in working customer-focused. You want to contribute to making every day as safe, meaningful, and valuable as possible for our elderly citizens. You can motivate and inspire others and have a professional attitude towards everyone you meet in your work. Furthermore, you have the ability to independently plan and structure your work. You are creative and solution-oriented, see opportunities for development, and are happy to take initiative for improvements in the operations.

Österängsgården is a care and support residence centrally located in Kristianstad and offers support and care to our customers. Here we work closely together in an engaged work team where cooperation, respect, and good treatment are a natural part of everyday life. In the operations, we work person-centered and start from each customer's needs, resources, and wishes. Our goal is to create security, participation, and be a valuable support for the people we meet. The work is characterized by close cooperation between nursing assistants, nurses, and rehabilitation staff, where we together contribute to a holistic approach around the customer.

With us, you meet a workplace with high competence, great engagement, and a desire to constantly develop the quality of care. Österängsgården is a residence with 6 departments, one of which is general and the others are dementia-focused. There are well-functioning public transports to get here.

The care administration's operations target the elderly and people who need functional support, as well as people in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and support housing, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
