About the Department

The Diagnostic Business Area consists of four units: Radiology Ystad, Radiology Kristianstad, Radiology Hässleholm, Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine Kristianstad. A total of approximately 250 employees work within this business area. Our operations in Ystad comprise approximately 70 people.

The unit is modernly equipped with high-tech digital equipment. Here you will find two CT scanners, two MRI scanners (1.5 T), an intervention lab, two conventional X-ray units, and two ultrasound rooms; we also have a sonographer working with us. Regarding administration, we work in the radiology journal system SECTRA IDS7. The unit operates 24/7 with night on-call duties and performs approximately 52,000 examinations per year.

Job Responsibilities

The position is varied and includes standard tasks at a radiology department, with work primarily within ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and reception. The tasks include patient reception, administrative duties, booking, and assisting with examinations within ultrasound and fluoroscopy.

As an assistant nurse with us, you play a vital role in ensuring that all work related to the patient flows smoothly. You do this, among other things, by being helpful and ensuring that your colleagues in the team have the best possible conditions to help the patient. Providing good service to doctors and radiographers based on their specific needs is therefore a large part of the job. Since all work is digital, you will work with the computer as your main tool daily. Therefore, you need to be accustomed to this and enjoy working with computers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure.

• Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required.
• It is meritorious if you have experience in reception work and/or have previously worked within diagnostics.

In this role, you collaborate closely with several different professions, such as radiographers, radiologists, and medical secretaries. We therefore value that you enjoy providing good service and have a flexible approach. You are also structured and meticulous in your work. Important Information Regarding Your Application

For your application to be considered complete, you must attach your certificate of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you have not yet received your certificate, you must attach grades (not just a diploma) from your healthcare and care education, as well as grades in Swedish or Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level. If you were employed as an assistant nurse on a permanent basis on July 1, 2023, and lack a certificate, attach your employment certificate as well as your grades (not just a diploma) from your healthcare and care education, and grades in Swedish or Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level.

If you do not have the certificate, you will be employed as a nursing assistant on a fixed-term contract while waiting for the certificate.
