The department currently has 16 internal medicine care beds, primarily focused on endocrinology and pulmonology. We also treat hematological patients with anemia and patients with other conditions, such as sepsis and multi-morbid elderly patients. We work in teams consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, and paramedics to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care and nursing. Good collaboration is therefore essential for us. Not only within the team or on the department, but also between our departments, clinics, and other units within the hospital. Patient safety is constantly in focus, and potential risks are discussed daily to ensure they are addressed before harm occurs.

We care for the patient, but also for each other, fostering a good and open work climate where there is a high level of trust and everyone has a voice. We also focus on everyone's competence, as we can always learn from each other. With an atmosphere close to laughter and joy, we support each other through thick and thin. Job Description

We now have the opportunity to welcome new colleagues to our department. There are possibilities for different types of shifts, as we are looking for nurses for day/evening shifts as well as nurses interested in working permanent night shifts.

Here you will perform common tasks for your professional role, as well as tasks more focused on the department's specialties, such as pleural drainage. The team includes, in addition to nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. As support for "Mina Planer" (My Plans), an assistant nurse is on duty on weekdays to manage discharge planning for the teams. The ward coordinators who work across the hospital are based here.

You have good opportunities to join us as a new colleague, as we have nurse educators whose role includes providing competence support for new employees. The induction period is usually four weeks, and in addition, you always have support from your supervisor, your colleagues, and our nurse educators.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 on the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Previous experience in pulmonary care or endocrinology is considered an advantage.
