Short-term Care – Part of an Engaged Team

Here at Short-term Care, you will become part of an engaged and experienced team of nursing assistants working together to provide safe and secure care. The work is varied and meaningful, combining independent responsibility with close collaboration within the multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers.

Job Responsibilities

At Short-term Care, you will meet people with different needs and life situations. Here, patients with various medical conditions, rehabilitation needs, and mental health issues are cared for. Our work is based on a person-centered approach where the individual's needs and resources are always at the center.

As a nursing assistant at Short-term Care, you are responsible for good care and actively contribute to the patients' well-being and rehabilitation. You also perform health and medical care tasks after delegation or instruction from licensed personnel, so you must be eligible for delegation.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and able to adapt their approach to each individual's unique needs. You follow routines, are confident with documentation, have good communication skills, collaborate easily, and maintain a professional work attitude.

Qualifications

You must be a trained nursing assistant and have at least a passing grade according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's vocational package from the Care and Nursing program designed for work as a nursing assistant. The education corresponds to 1500 credits.

If you have a completed education where you received the title of nursing assistant before the 1500-credit education was introduced, the employer has the opportunity to make a qualified individual assessment.

You should have experience and knowledge to handle the following delegated tasks:

• Handing out medication
• Insulin treatment
• Subcutaneous injections in pre-filled syringes
• Nutrition via tube (Mic-Key or PEG)

You must also have Swedish language skills, including the ability to understand, speak, read, and write the Swedish used in healthcare. Much of the daily work involves communication and documentation in various systems.

A valid B-category driver's license is an advantage.

Employment Terms

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: According to agreement.
