You will step into an important assignment with a public sector organization facing a strategic crossroads regarding identity and access management (IAM). Current working methods and solutions need to be developed to create a long-term sustainable management of identities, permissions, and access control, supported by SKR’s recommendations.

The environment is currently built on Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, where identities are sourced from multiple systems and some flows are still handled manually. At the same time, there is a clear ambition to move from perimeter-based security to Zero Trust. Here, you will help shape the target state, define a sustainable identity model, and provide guidance on future technology choices. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to combine architecture, technology, and strategic advisory in a role with clear impact.

• Analyze the current state of identity and access management together with the organization's IT architect.
• Develop a solution description with a defined identity model and identity foundation.
• Design a target architecture and recommendations regarding product and platform choices.
• Create a concrete roadmap with prioritized activities for the short and long term.
• Advise the organization on how Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory should interact in a future hybrid environment.
• Investigate alternatives to Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and recommend a suitable path forward.
• Provide strategic advice on upcoming decisions and describe which actions should be taken first.
• Contribute materials for the procurement of a solution and estimate resource requirements for an upcoming implementation.

• You have experience with similar IAM projects.
• You have good knowledge of solutions and products for identity and access management.
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• You can present complex technical solutions in a clear and pedagogical manner.
• You have excellent communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.

• You have an understanding of the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
