SLSO is a central part of Region Stockholm and is in an active phase of development. Since June 1, 2025, Business Support HR has a new organization with the goal of strengthening our joint HR work, creating high quality, and ensuring close support to managers and operations. As an HR Partner, you will become part of a competent and engaged HR unit consisting of seven colleagues, where you have the HR Manager as your direct supervisor.

As an HR Partner, you are a strategic and operational partner to the managers at Sabbatsberg Geriatrics. You work close to the operations and contribute with qualified HR support that strengthens managers in their assignments. As needed, you also support other operations within the HR unit. As a natural part of the assignment, you are included in the clinic's management group, where you contribute an HR perspective to the development and strategic decisions of the operations. The position is located at Sabbatsberg Hospital.

Sabbatsberg Geriatrics is one of two geriatric clinics within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO), Region Stockholm. There, we provide person-centered outpatient and inpatient care at Sabbatsberg Hospital, with the patient in focus and our values – collaboration, participation, and responsibility – as the foundation. The clinic consists of five inpatient wards as well as a cognitive clinic and an osteoporosis clinic. It is an engaged operation with high competence that actively works on developing the geriatrics of the future.

About the role

As an HR Partner, you have a broad generalist role with both operational and strategic elements. You function as a consultative support to managers and actively contribute to developing and ensuring the quality of SLSO's HR processes. Working environment, labor law, wage formation, rehabilitation, recruitment, and cooperation issues are central parts of your work, as well as dialogue and negotiations with trade union parties.

The role also includes ongoing administration in systems such as Heroma and our case management system. The work is carried out in close cooperation with both HR colleagues, managers, and trade union representatives, and there are good opportunities to take on an extended area of responsibility based on your competence and interests.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have: a university degree and are a Human Resources professional. You have at least four years of current experience in operationally close HR work. You have experience supporting managers in a consultative manner in various types of personnel matters. You are confident within the labor law area and have experience in trade union cooperation and negotiation. You have a proactive approach.

Meritorious

  • Experience from the healthcare sector or another politically governed organization
  • Knowledge of the collective agreement General Provisions (AB)

As a person, you are communicative, sensitive, and have an easy time creating trusting relationships. You enjoy working independently and take responsibility for driving your work forward in a structured and pedagogical manner. The role requires you to be meticulous, enduring, and creative in long-term processes, while also being flexible and able to reprioritize when the situation changes.

Other

Employment type: Fixed-term contract, for one year with a start date to be agreed upon. There are good chances of extension thereafter.

Workload: Full-time, 39.5 hours/week

In patient-oriented work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • Swedish professional licensure is required, in addition to good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
