Do you want to work in a role where law, quality, and industry development meet?

Memento Service AB is now looking for a consultant with legal expertise who wants to contribute to strengthening legal certainty and developing an important, value-driven industry.

Here you will have a central role in a small and cohesive organization where your work makes a concrete difference, both for the operations and for our member companies across the country.

About Us

Memento Service AB is the service company for the Swedish Association of Funeral and Legal Agencies (SBJF), a membership organization founded in 1922 that brings together approximately 400 authorized funeral and legal agencies in Sweden.

Our operations are characterized by empathy, professionalism, and high ethics. We work to create security for our members and ensure that the industry maintains high quality and complies with current regulations.

About the Role

As a consultant with legal expertise, you play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and quality within the association's operations. You work both operationally with supervision and strategically with the development of regulations and working methods.

The role involves significant independence and many points of contact, where you serve as an important support to both members and the organization internally. Travel is involved in the position.

Your Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct supervisory and authorization visits at member companies regarding both funeral and legal operations.

  • Assess regulatory compliance, identify deviations, and follow up on measures.

  • Provide qualified support to both legal and funeral agency operations for members and the organization internally.

  • Interpret and apply relevant legislation and contribute to the development of regulations and guidelines.

  • Participate in training initiatives and knowledge dissemination.

  • Document, analyze, and report cases and contribute to improvement work.

We Offer
  • An important role in an industry with high ethical standards.

  • A small, engaged team with close collaboration.

  • Opportunity to influence working methods and develop operations.

  • Your own workplace in bright premises.

  • A meaningful assignment where you make a difference every day.

We Are Looking For
  • Relevant academic education in law.

  • Experience in qualified legal work, supervision, and auditing.

  • Good knowledge of regulations such as GDPR and anti-money laundering legislation.

  • Ability to work independently and make well-founded decisions.

Who You Are

You are analytical, structured, and have high integrity. You have good communication skills and can explain legal issues in a clear and trustworthy manner.

You thrive in a role where you combine auditing with advisory services and have an easy time building trust with different types of businesses.

Application

Does this sound interesting? Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible.

  • Employment Type: Permanent (6-month probationary period).

  • Employment Level: Full-time.

  • Location: Årsta, Stockholm.

  • Start Date: According to agreement.
