Hälsingland Education Consortium is a municipal consortium formed by the municipalities of Bollnäs and Söderhamn, with the mission to meet students' demand for education with breadth and quality.

The consortium's work is characterized by being a motor for growth, a broker of education, and a meeting place for development. We run upper secondary and adult education for the municipalities' residents, as well as providing opportunities for university college and distance studies at universities. We also offer commissioned training for companies and organizations, as well as opportunities for research and development.

Description

As a study and career counselor at the adult education center, you are a central figure in creating good opportunities for adults to develop!

Responsibilities

As a study and career counselor, you work proactively and motivationally while conducting counseling sessions, both individually and in groups. You work closely with school leadership, educators, and colleagues in both administration and counseling. Together, we create offerings and processes so that as many individuals as possible can find their path forward to studies or work.

You are a central person for us to ensure that adult students can develop their knowledge and skills. Great focus is placed on collaboration with internal and external parties.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have one of the following educations:

• Degree in Study and Career Counseling
• Completed and graded bridging education for study and career counseling

As a person, you are solution-focused, structured, responsible, service-oriented, and flexible. You have good cooperation skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You have a good ability to build good relationships.

Since part of this position may involve reviewing the eligibility of incoming applications, it is important that you are administratively competent and computer literate.
