About the Preschool

In the Valbo preschool area, there are 8 preschools. Fridebo Preschool consists of three parallel sections where we work in mixed-age groups. The preschool has an inspiring local environment with proximity to playgrounds, sports fields, and forests, as well as good bus connections to central Gävle. With us, you will encounter a well-organized operation and a dedicated staff group that is open to continuous development. We offer a welcoming environment for both children and adults. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged childcare worker who wants to contribute to a secure, playful, and educational everyday life for the children. You are present, collaborate well, and are passionate about creating good relationships.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• together with your colleagues, being responsible for the pedagogical work with children aged 1-5 years
• constantly working to create a safe, secure, and educational environment that attracts and challenges children to play, activities, and learning
• contributing to planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the operation according to decided goals and guidelines
• working for a good health-promoting and accessible environment for care, play, physical activity, development, and learning

Qualifications

You are a structured and secure childcare worker with the child in focus.

We are looking for you who:

• have completed upper secondary education
• are trained as a childcare worker
• are familiar with the preschool curriculum and other regulatory documents
• have good linguistic and communicative skills in Swedish, both in speech and writing.

• you have the ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best way
• you inspire trust and create confidence. You have the ability to spread calm and stability
• you are curious, creative, and open to new solutions
• you take initiative in social contexts and have the ability to create trust in your professional relationships
• you have an egalitarian approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you provide an extract from the criminal record for work in schools or preschools.
