Are you the assistant I am looking for? Temporary position that may lead to a permanent role after the summer.

Hello! I am a boy of almost 4 years old, living in Gävle with my mom, dad, and older sister. I was born with a brain injury, cerebral palsy (CP), and epilepsy, which means I need round-the-clock personal assistance. My assistants work different shifts: mornings, afternoons, or awake nights.

I am very kind and sweet; many people say I am quite charming. During the day, I am usually at home because I rely on various aids and equipment. However, I would love to go for a walk in my stroller at some point during the day, so the person working with me should enjoy this as well. Singing and music are a big part of my daily life; I love it when my assistants sing for me and are open to sharing themselves.

If I am not at home, I am likely at the hospital. I usually spend a few days there each month, sometimes more, sometimes less. This means my workplace is wherever I am located.

I am looking for someone who is kind, respectful of individual differences, and ideally has experience with epilepsy. It is important that you are attentive and responsive, as my parents still make decisions for me (until I turn 18, they say…).

Fluent Swedish is a requirement, and I do not smoke.

I am searching for assistants through JA-assistans, a small company with about 15 clients. Their office is located in Ockelbo.

The compensation is an hourly wage based on industry standards. Overtime pay, vacation, and other benefits/conditions are according to the collective agreement. Paid introduction starts as agreed.

Having Bank-ID is mandatory, and later in the autumn, you will also need access to Kivra.
