RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher at Solängsskolan, you will be responsible for teaching, class management, as well as mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. The work is carried out according to decided goals and guidelines.

The responsibilities also include mentorship and working together with your colleagues to create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests at the forefront. You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good academic results, and you adapt your teaching to meet the needs and prerequisites of all students.

The work is performed in collaboration with other educators, student health services, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching
• Class management
• Mentorship
• Mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons
• Adapting teaching based on all students' needs and prerequisites
• Collaboration with educators, student health services, guardians, and other external actors

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Competencies:

• Teacher degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach grades 4-6
• Familiarity with and knowledge of the Swedish compulsory school curriculum
• Experience working with digital tools
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

• The ability to lead and motivate your students and create an environment where they thrive, feel good, and have a sense of belonging
• An inclusive approach to work, actively working to ensure all students feel involved in the teaching
• The ability to create open dialogue and adapt your language based on the situation and the recipient
