Description

We are looking for an engaged and attentive teaching assistant for the upper secondary level at Färila School. We are seeking a confident teaching assistant who wants to support students in their development and learning. As a teaching assistant, you work closely with both students and school staff to create a safe and stimulating school environment. You help students with special needs in their schooling, support their learning and social development, build good relationships with the students, and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere both in the classroom and across the school. You maintain your composure in stressful situations and handle conflicts in a low-affective manner. Responsibilities

In your role, you provide support in teaching and during social interactions. You support students in their daily school activities and collaborate closely with teachers, student health services, and other school staff to meet the students' needs. As a teaching assistant, you are a secure adult and role model for the students, contributing to creating a positive and inclusive school environment throughout the school day.

Qualifications

We would appreciate it if you have experience working with young people, preferably within schools or leisure activities. Your ability to collaborate well with others and your social competence are important. You should be flexible and able to adapt to the students' different needs. An engaged, attentive, and positive attitude is highly valued.
