Idenors School is a grades F-6 school located just outside central Hudiksvall, with close proximity to nature and forests. Our guiding principle is "We learn together, we make each other better".

The school is situated in a rural area but still close to town. The proximity to the forest allows theoretical subjects to be put into practice. The school grounds offer large areas for outdoor activities, and the school has its own ice rink. A groomed ski track is also located directly adjacent to the schoolyard during the season.

Our focus is on increasing students' own responsibility for their learning. We work on motivation by providing knowledge about goals, confidence in their own capacity and ability, as well as through feedback and teaching adapted to the student. In our subject teams, we regularly develop and analyze our teaching.

Job Responsibilities

Being a student assistant means supporting a student and preventing obstacles so that the student can reach their goals. This means different things depending on the student's need for support. Supporting the student during school hours as well as during the after-school program (fritidshem) is part of the assignment. You will be part of the work team around a class as well as the after-school program's work team, and working hours may vary between 06:00–18:00 on weekdays. You will work in a classroom environment at our school and support the student throughout the day. Both outdoor and indoor work are included. Some work related to diabetes care is also included.

Your Profile

You should have the ability to take great personal responsibility, and life experience is required to make good choices in situations that arise. Experience working with children in groups within primary school is advantageous. You enjoy moving around and creating activities both indoors and outdoors with the children at the after-school program.

About the Department

We teach children to read, calculate, and discover the world around them. Here we follow our youngest residents from preschool until they graduate from high school. Through our adult education, one can learn Swedish as a second language, take individual courses, or pursue a longer education. With joy, engagement, participation, and a scientific foundation, we want to increase knowledge, creativity, development, and the desire to learn. At our school, all children, young people, and adults should feel that they can, want, and dare! Together we are the Learning Administration – a part of Hudiksvall Municipality.
