In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Murgårdsskolan is located centrally in Sandviken and is close to everything, including nature. Göransson Arena, Ferrum Arena, and Parkbadet are within walking distance. For the school year 26/27, Murgårdsskolan will be a grades 3-9 school, with approximately 300 students in grades 7-9.

DUTIES

As a substitute teacher/teacher, you are a flexible resource who covers for regular staff absence. You teach in different grades and subjects, which means you need to quickly get used to new situations and create structure in the classroom.

You contribute by:

• Creating safety and peace of mind for students in different teaching situations
• Supporting students in their learning and social development
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Sharing experiences and knowledge in open forums

• Working together so that all students succeed

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to be good at collaborating and building good relationships with both students and colleagues. Sensitivity and clear communication are important to contribute to a safe and functional environment. There is also a need for pedagogical understanding of how people learn in different ways, so that teaching can be adapted to students' needs. A structured approach with planning and order makes it easier to handle the assignment and create peace of mind in the classroom.

For the assignment, the following is required:

• Teacher certification with eligibility for grades 7-9
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing

Previous experience of working in schools and good IT skills are meritorious.
