RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an enthusiastic physical education (PE) teacher for Perslundaskolan in Ockelbo Municipality. Together with your work team, you will create the best conditions for learning and a safe, active school day for all students.

As a PE teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing your teaching in close collaboration with your colleagues. You contribute to awakening students' joy of movement and interest in health, and work to ensure that all students feel included and safe. The role also involves close collaboration with the student health service.

Main responsibilities include:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in physical education and health
• Lead and organize teaching both indoors and outdoors
• Mentorship and responsibility for students' development and well-being
• Create and develop a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment based on the curriculum and steering documents
• Collaborate with colleagues and the student health service to promote students' learning and well-being
• Plan and conduct outdoor days and other physical activity-promoting events

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with eligibility to teach Physical Education and Health in grades 4-6. Previous experience as a teacher is considered an advantage. You are well-versed in the school's steering documents and can apply your knowledge effectively in your daily work.

To succeed in this role, you have a professional attitude and work towards building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are an engaged educator who takes responsibility for your students' results and places great emphasis on adapting your teaching to the different conditions and needs of your students.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required upon employment.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: 2026-08-12, End date: 2027-06-15.
