In Gävle Municipality, we work together with dedication to offer our residents a safe and inspiring environment. We offer you a workplace built on trust, where you can develop professionally and grow as a person. We look forward to receiving your application!
About the Position
We are now looking for two teachers for grades Pre-K to 3 who wish to join our team at Staffansskolan Staffan and Brynäs, starting in the autumn term of 2026. These two school buildings are centrally located in Gävle and cover operations from Pre-K to Grade 6.
Staffanskolan Brynäs has new, beautiful facilities and a pleasant outdoor environment for all students in grades 3–6. Staffanskolan Staffans offers operations for all students from Pre-K to Grade 2, with adaptations and space for the needs of younger children.
The school also has hearing-impaired classes. Here, we have a diversity of languages and cultures that provide opportunities for different working methods and approaches. To give our students the best conditions for success, and to ensure the school is accessible to all students, our starting point is an NPF-safe (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) school with a strong focus on digitalization.
We value student participation and influence in both teaching and other contexts where the student is present. In daily life at our school, many good encounters are created that strengthen students' social competence. Safe, clear adults provide a calm environment with peace and joy in work. At our school, it is important that all staff are aware and work based on the school's value base.
If you feel that you would like to be involved in continuing to develop Staffansskolan Staffan and Brynäs together with us, we look forward to your application!
