Do you want to manage and develop regional support schemes in a changing world? Region Kronoberg is looking for a service-oriented development coordinator who wants to combine progress and transition with the fundamental principles of public operations regarding legal certainty and transparency.

About the Role

As a regional development coordinator, you belong to Regional Development and work with assignments within business and community planning. You work based on the strategy "Future Kronoberg in the World" to create value for residents and businesses through the efficient management of regional, state, and EU funds.

You will become an important link to the actors we support and work with support schemes such as:

The Consultation Hour: Expert advice for small business owners.
Business Support: Development checks and investment support in cooperation with partners such as Almi.
Commercial Service: Support to secure services in sparsely populated and rural areas.
Regional Assignments: Support and follow-up for organizations with regional development assignments.

The position is located at Nygatan 20 in central Växjö.

Interviews are planned to be conducted via Teams on August 20 and 21.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities:

Process support applications and prepare cases for decision-making.
Coordinate and follow up on our support schemes to ensure that resources are used effectively and meet set goals.
Plan activities, meetings, and dialogues with stakeholders and target groups.
Inform and communicate pedagogically about the region's assignments and funding opportunities.

Qualifications

We welcome both those who are at the beginning of their career and those with experience. You have a relevant academic education, for example in political science, economics, or community planning.

To succeed in the role, you have:

A structured and methodical working approach with an eye for quality.
Interest in society and understanding of politically directed operations.
Good digital maturity and experience with hybrid working methods.
Ability to communicate well in Swedish and English.
Meritorious: Experience of public administration, case processing, or project support.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-10-01 or according to agreement. Probation period may apply.
