Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now looking for two dedicated resource assistant nurses for day services who want to contribute to safe and quality care for our users.

We are located in the Soltofta resource area, which is part of the Bulltofta unit within ordinary housing. As a resource assistant nurse, you work together with home care groups throughout the resource area and collaborate closely with colleagues in home healthcare and rehabilitation to provide our users with good and cohesive care.

We share a building with one of Malmö's most modern dementia care facilities and a day activity center. Adjacent to our premises, there is free parking and good opportunities to reach us by public transport.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse, you help and support users with care measures based on individual needs and wishes. You will support users with personal care, medical interventions performed on delegation from a licensed nurse, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.

In addition to the practical work, you must be able to document events regarding the user and maintain contact with the user's relatives. The job involves giving advice and information, as well as motivating and stimulating the user so they can do as much as possible on their own. In your daily work, you also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, assistance officers, and other home care groups.

The positions cover two day services, with work every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Nursing assistant education with passing grades
• Certificate of protected professional title as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or a certificate from the employer showing that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023
• Ability to cycle
• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Experience using the computer as a tool and aid, as well as the willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with people with permanent disabilities
• Experience with dementia and/or psychiatry
• Knowledge of LifeCare, Flexite, and Senior Alert
• Driver's license

We move around by bicycle, so it is important that you can and want to cycle in all weather conditions.
