About the Position

Södra Långgatan is now looking for a driven and competent care assistant who can also take on the role of Site Responsibility (Platsansvarig). As a care assistant with us, you will have a meaningful role where, with care, attentiveness, and professional engagement, you support individuals in their daily lives and contribute to creating safety, participation, and quality of life.

The Site Responsibility role is appointed by the Unit Manager and exists at all special housing facilities in Landskrona Municipality. The duties of the Site Responsibility role may vary depending on the conditions of each facility.

Responsibilities

Care Assistant:

• Provide individually adapted support and care based on the individual's needs and disabilities.
• Support the individual's participation in leisure, cultural, and community activities.
• Document according to current guidelines and follow up on, and contribute to updating, implementation plans.
• Perform delegated medical tasks according to instructions from nurses and report changes in condition when applicable.
• Work day and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Site Responsibility:

• Economics: Participate in budget work by planning and monitoring staffing and minor purchases together with the Unit Manager based on the existing budget. Assist in communicating economic goals and priorities.
• Personnel: Support and coach colleagues within the group/apartment. Assist with staffing planning, scheduling, absence management, and similar tasks in the designated IT systems. Introduce new staff/students by appointing supervisors and ensuring routines and checklists are followed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who works in a structured and goal-oriented manner, with the ability to plan, organize, and follow up on your work responsibly. You are self-assured and remain calm even in stressful or unexpected situations, allowing you to act constructively and maintain a professional attitude even under pressure.

In both the role of care assistant and site responsibility, it is important that you have a good approach to other people, with the ability to listen, show consideration, and put yourself in the individual's perspective. You value collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment through a solution-oriented approach, focusing on achieving common goals together with colleagues and other professions.

Requirements for the position:

• Completed nursing and care program with passing grades.
• Experience in professional practice within the care sector.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experienced in working with various systems such as payroll, scheduling, documentation, and digital solutions like Sensio, Swedlock, and Appva.
