Our clinic serves children and young people up to the age of 17 and is based on interdisciplinary, family-centered teamwork. We are located in beautiful Ängelholm, close to both the sea and fine nature. The clinic is situated on the northern hospital campus in newly built and purposeful premises with the latest equipment. We have good commuting options, with a walk from the train station to our location taking approximately ten minutes. There is also some possibility of remote work in the role.

We work with children and young people with permanent disabilities and their families. The children and young people may have mobility impairments, autism spectrum disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities. Our operations are based on interdisciplinary child- and family-centered work, meaning that the family is involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of interventions. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now welcoming a speech therapist to our workplace!

In the role of speech therapist, you work with the assessment and treatment of children and young people with communication, speech, and language difficulties and/or eating and swallowing difficulties. In collaboration with other team members, you also provide information, supervision, and education to people in the child's immediate environment. You place great emphasis on the child's and young person's own participation in the planning of interventions. Interventions are provided both physically and remotely, either individually or in groups, and are directed both directly to the child and young person, as well as to parents and other networks.

Working hours are during the day, with evening shifts until 18:30 on Tuesdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech therapist with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale, as well as basic computer skills. Since travel occurs in the role, a valid B-driver's license is also required. Experience working with the target group and rehabilitation work is meritorious.
