Nurse for Emergency and Weekend Clinic at Landskrona Hospital

Here, you will find a small, family-like hospital where you will never just be one of the crowd. Our daily operations are characterized by being a tight-knit team with an open and positive atmosphere.

The hospital has three internal medicine wards, with admissions primarily coming from our own emergency clinic. In addition to the medical wards, we also perform surgery and run a large outpatient clinic with various specialties.

Emergency Clinic and Weekend Clinic

The Emergency Clinic in Landskrona is responsible for receiving adult patients needing acute care within medical specialties, open on weekdays (excluding holidays) between 08:00–17:00.

The Weekend Clinic in Landskrona is open 10:00–16:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as all public holidays. Patients who cannot wait until their regular primary care center opens come here. Acute care within Primary Care and Health consists of emergency clinics that are not open 24/7, as well as evening and weekend clinics within Region Skåne.

Job Responsibilities

You will combine your role between the Emergency Clinic and the Weekend Clinic in Landskrona.

At our Emergency Clinic, you work as a nurse treating and caring for acutely ill medical patients, as well as providing advice, assessment, and triage. We work according to the RETTS prioritization system to ensure patient safety. You will interact with both internal and external contacts, such as other units at the hospital, public authorities, and other healthcare providers.

Your duties at the Weekend Clinic include telephone advice, triage, assessments, sample collection, and assistance at the doctor's clinic. You will also be involved in improvement and development work to offer our patients high medical quality and a good working environment for our staff.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work in both our operations and develop within both acute care and primary care-oriented healthcare.

You will work according to a schedule with varying hours, including both daytime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you must have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is meritorious if you have work experience as a nurse. We consider it an advantage if you have relevant specialist education, as well as work experience in emergency care and/or primary care. Knowledge of PMO or Melior is a plus.

You are confident and secure in your professional role and perform your duties with high quality, both independently and in close collaboration with others. You are flexible, self-initiative, and driven in your work approach. The combined role places high demands on good teamwork skills and a strong team focus, which you enjoy and contribute to actively.
