Does your heart beat a little extra for Lund? Then perhaps we are the workplace for you :-)
On April 1, 2026, Viklinik Health Centre celebrated its 4th anniversary in central Lund. We currently have 50 employees and care for the health of just over 10,000 residents of Lund. We continue to grow with patients choosing to register with us every month.
Viklinik Health Centre has been ranked highest in Lund Municipality and among the very highest in Skåne in SKR's National Patient Survey for 4 consecutive years. The medical team currently consists of 10 doctors, 5 general specialists, and 5 resident doctors (ST-läkare).
The health centre is a meeting place for well-being and the sharing of knowledge and motivation for both employees and patients. Residents of Lund come here not only for assessment and medication, but for the whole picture, activity, and community. Healthier care for both staff and patients!
With a long-term perspective and preventive measures, we aim to offer healthier care for both our staff and our patients, increase participation in care, and reduce the need for care in the long run. Preventive measures such as physical activity, health talks, dietary counseling, smoking cessation, overweight schools, stress schools, etc., are in focus to keep individuals healthy and well.
As a resident doctor (ST-läkare) with us, you are social and enjoy building long-term relationships with your colleagues and patients. You enjoy being physically active and healthy yourself, as we like to be active together as colleagues and also socialize outside of work. We are a stable medical team that mentors and supports you in your daily work and in your development towards becoming a general specialist. We have Child Health Care (BVC) and Care for People with Intellectual Disabilities (SÄBO) within our own operations, so you will see patients across the entire spectrum from newborns to the elderly.
We always work based on current evidence and research, as well as in digital-physical care chains when requested by the patient. You should enjoy challenging your own and the team's working methods and be stimulated by how we, as colleagues, develop our competencies and lift each other up. Great flexibility and participation in how the health centre should work with your competence are expected, guided by your personal wishes and drive for how you wish to develop your future specialist competence. You help create your own workday, deciding what it entails, how it is utilized, and how it is communicated to patients. You work with patients individually and together with other professional categories.
You should be very comfortable with computer work and performing part of your work via digital platforms and AI tools to facilitate your administrative tasks.
We generally work at the health centre using what we call the "Viklinik Model." This means that you, as a doctor, control your own workday and how you wish to take care of your patients in the best way possible. In other words, you are not just a provider of care, but a co-decider on how care for your patients and your handling of them should be conducted.
With this model, we have largely succeeded in eliminating waiting times for appointments and increasing access to care in a fantastic way, while simultaneously securing the work environment for you as a doctor.
We invest more in a person than in a CV for this recruitment. We value personal suitability for the job above all else, and fitting into our existing team at the clinic is of utmost importance. You must master both Swedish and English fluently.
Type: Permanent position
Scope: 100%
Salary: Individual
We prioritize applicants who wish to start their residency training (ST) with us from the beginning, over those who wish to transfer their residency training to us.
Start: By agreement during 2027. Flexible from January – April 2027.
NOTE! Interviews start in late August and continue throughout the autumn. The position may be filled before the application deadline.
