Are you a certified occupational therapist with an interest in primary care, who thrives in a workplace with varied tasks? We are now looking for an occupational therapist for the Kryddgården Health Center and the Fosietorp Health Center.

The Kryddgården Health Center has embraced the 'Hälsovalet' (Health Choice) model with great commitment and is constantly developing its operations to best suit our registered patients. We offer a wide range of services including a doctor's clinic, laboratory, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy, as well as various specialist clinics for smoking cessation, asthma/COPD, diabetes, and incontinence. The staff includes nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers.

We have a rehabilitation team consisting of physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as a family center that includes our Child Health Center (BVC). We offer our patients good accessibility, high quality, and professional treatment. Our goal is to contribute to good health and quality of life for our patients. We achieve this by ensuring they connect with the right person and receive the right care.

As the health center is located in a multicultural area, there is a significant need for interpretation services for our patients.

The Fosietorp Health Center is a well-functioning and pleasant 'Hälsovalet' unit with a research mandate from the Center for Primary Health Care Research (CPF). The health center has several specialist clinics, and our Child Health Center is housed in the same premises. Today, we have approximately 45 employees in various professions such as general practitioners, specialty trainee doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, medical secretaries, and administrators. Together, we work to offer all our patients, who represent different areas within general medicine, safe and accessible primary care of high quality with good treatment. Our premises are located in the southern city area of Malmö with good public bus connections and close to the outer and inner ring roads if you choose to drive.

We are an academic health center that serves as a resource for other health centers regarding various research projects. As a significant amount of research is conducted at the health center, we keep ourselves continuously updated and maintain a high scientific level both within our medical operations and in the area of mental ill health. The Kryddgården Health Center is part of a collaboration with five other health centers within a geographical cluster, which means you will have close collaboration with other occupational therapists within the cluster.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a certified occupational therapist who is interested in rehabilitation and teamwork for the Kryddgården Health Center and the Fosietorp Health Center.

In your role as an occupational therapist, we offer you varied tasks including clinic visits, home visits, and group treatments. You meet patients of all ages and have significant autonomy over your day and schedule, while collaborating with other professions such as physiotherapists, doctors, and nurses.

The occupational therapist is a key person in the team at our health centers, and at our clinics, you are the first point of contact for diagnosing and treating injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow. Your duties also include prescribing electric wheelchairs and conducting cognitive assessments planned according to the patient's needs. It may also involve helping patients structure their daily lives and strive for a more favorable activity balance, for example, in connection with returning to work. Your responsibilities include counseling, both individually and by leading training sessions for different patient groups.

As an occupational therapist, you will divide your working time between the Kryddgården and Fosietorp Health Centers. Our conviction is that together we are strong.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a certified occupational therapist with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. We consider it meritorious if you have a few years of work experience in the profession, preferably within primary care.
