We are now looking for a new Medical Technology (MT) Responsible Nurse for our operations. Do you have a strong interest and good knowledge regarding medical technology equipment? The Business Area (VO) for Children and Adolescents at Helsingborg Hospital includes the Children's Ward, Pediatric Emergency Clinic, Neonatal Unit, Day Care, Play Therapy, and Appointment Clinic. In total, we have approximately 300 employees within this business area.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will have overall responsibility for medical technology within our entire VO and will serve as a support to the various units regarding procurement, training, and use of medical technology equipment.
Your area of responsibility includes:
- Ensuring that employees at all units have the required training and competence to use medical technology equipment safely and correctly within the operations.
- Ensuring that all medical technology equipment is correctly installed and that necessary controls and tests have been performed before the equipment is put into use.
- Providing units with relevant information and fault messages from manufacturers and authorities.
- Participating in procurements of new MT equipment for the business area.
- Assisting in the application for funds prior to the purchase of new equipment.
- Acting as the contact for the business area with relevant companies and investigating the market for new equipment.
- Convening and leading regular meetings with relevant staff in all units.
- Purchasing and assisting with fault reports for existing equipment.
The position is distributed across the entire VO Children and Adolescents and involves collaboration with several different units. The position may also include some clinical duties in care related to patients who use medical technology equipment to a high degree.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. You also have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is meritorious if you have basic knowledge of medical technology regulations.
To be suitable for the position, you are meticulous, open, and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with and understand existing and new systems and tools. Furthermore, a strong technical interest and good knowledge within the medical technology field are required for the role.
To succeed in the position, we see that you are accustomed to working in a process-oriented manner, able to solve technical problems, and document your work. You thrive in a dynamic environment where conditions can change quickly. As a person, you are structured, have a high service spirit, and are well aware of your abilities and limitations.
