Are you technically skilled, meticulous, and experienced with fine mechanics and electronic components? We are currently looking for a Senior Precision Technician in Electronics for a long-term assignment in Stockholm. This role is ideal for you if you want to work with assembly, testing, and improvement of electronic products in a controlled and quality-driven environment.

For this position, you must be a citizen of a NATO country and be able to undergo and pass a security clearance check.

As a Senior Precision Technician, you are responsible for advanced assembly work, troubleshooting, and optimization of production processes. You perform soldering, component mounting, adjustments, and final testing, while documenting your work according to established procedures and quality requirements. The role also involves mentoring and supporting less experienced colleagues and participating in improvement projects to enhance product quality and efficiency.

• Perform precision assembly and soldering of small electronic components.
• Conduct functional tests, measurements, and final inspections according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electronic faults and document deviations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of work instructions and improvement initiatives.
• Mentor technicians and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ensure order, safety, and compliance with 5S and other quality routines.

We are looking for an independent and structured person with high precision in craftsmanship and a strong focus on quality. You thrive on problem-solving, take responsibility for your work, and communicate clearly with colleagues and other departments. Experience working in a production environment and familiarity with formal documentation systems are advantageous.

• Education in electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in precision assembly, soldering (including micro-soldering), and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
• Experience using measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and frequency counters.
• Good computer skills and experience documenting in systems (e.g., work orders, quality documents).
• Fluent English (working language is English). Swedish is used in communication among colleagues.

• Experience working with SMT equipment and torque tools.
• Knowledge of IPC standards or equivalent quality standards.
• Experience in reading drawings and measurement methods for mechanical precision.
