At Combitech in Stockholm, we are looking for Senior Technical Project Managers for assignments within the defense industry, vehicle development, and other advanced technology development. Our customers are embarking on exciting development journeys, and we see a continued need for skilled project managers who want to combine technical understanding with leadership. We are not just looking for an experienced project manager; we are looking for someone who wants to influence the development of the business, build strong customer relationships, and eventually take on a larger role in leadership and business.

Your Role as a Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for driving projects and assignments from idea to delivery with a focus on quality, time, and cost. You lead cross-functional teams and act as the link between technology, business, and the customer. Assignments vary in scope and complexity and can range from the development of new products and industrialization to production-related development, verification, testing, and coordination of larger technical development initiatives.

The role involves more than just leading qualified development projects. You will have close dialogue with customers and colleagues and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of both business, teams, and long-term customer relationships. For those driven by leadership and business development, there are good opportunities to eventually grow into a larger role within our consulting business, where you will work closely with management and influence both customer business, competence development, and the team's continued growth. Most of the time, you will work on-site at the customer's location, but depending on the assignment, there is also the possibility to work from our office in Alvik.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have a university degree in technology or a Master of Science in Engineering, or equivalent experience. You have several years of experience in project management, sub-project management, or team leadership within technical operations and are accustomed to coordinating people, activities, and deliveries. Experience from product development, electronics, mechanics, systems engineering, production technology, or industrialization is advantageous.

We work broadly within hardware development and are therefore looking for you with a technical background and a desire to combine technology with leadership. You thrive in meetings with customers, have a business-minded approach, and are motivated by creating value for both the customer and the business. Perhaps you currently work as a Senior Project Manager, Technical Lead, or Sub-Project Manager and see the next step in your career as an opportunity to take greater responsibility in leadership, business development, and team development.

To succeed in the role, you are communicative, relationship-building, and accustomed to creating structure and driving issues forward. You have the ability to engage people, build strong teams, and create trust with customers and colleagues. Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance with registry check.
