Job Pitch
Do you work in a strategic role within real estate and are curious about something new? Do you want to be part of our journey towards 300 stores? Do you have experience in real estate economics and analysis, and do you thrive when working collaboratively with others? Read on to learn more about the role of Project Manager for our real estate portfolio!
Your Role
As a Project Manager here, you will step into Lidl's real estate department and become part of the Portfolio Management team. Together, we manage our real estate systems and administrative processes, analyze our property portfolio and potential new locations, and conduct financial follow-ups on our real estate projects.
In this role, you play a key part in our continued expansion in Sweden. You work analytically to evaluate both existing stores and new locations, where your analyses and decision support materials become a valuable asset when decisions on new establishments are made.
Other responsibilities in the role include:
- Conducting portfolio and needs analyses of our stores
- Performing market and location analyses and preparing materials for decision-making
- Supporting and collaborating with our colleagues at the real estate offices in our real estate systems and processes
In your role, you report to the Team Lead for Portfolio Management & Organization.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is business-minded, has a strong analytical mindset, and possesses solid foundational knowledge in real estate. You handle data with great skill and are driven by delivering well-founded insights. To succeed in this role, you are also a proactive team player who finds it easy to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders, both in Sweden and internationally. You thrive in a dynamic environment with fast-paced operations and have strong prioritization skills.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A post-secondary education in real estate, economics, or a similar field.
- Several years of experience working in a strategic or analytical role within real estate (e.g., as an expansion specialist, property manager, analyst, or from a real estate agency)
- A good understanding of real estate economics as well as basic knowledge of real estate-related regulations and processes
- Good system understanding and the ability to quickly learn new tools, while being proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Fluent Swedish skills and good knowledge of English or German, both spoken and written
What We Offer
It is important to us that our employees thrive—in every way. Therefore, we offer work in an environment characterized by our core values: performance, respect, trust, down-to-earth attitude, and community. Because we are growing, you can grow. Quickly. Within your role, or towards another. In the same location, or somewhere else. In-store, in the warehouse, or in the office. Locally, nationally, or globally. We support you on your journey towards more responsibility and new challenges. You will become part of a large team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and helps out. Sometimes you will find us at our state-of-the-art headquarters, where we have access to a gym and great discounted prices in the cafeteria. But of course, we are also a flexible workplace with the possibility of hybrid work. You receive everything from wellness benefits, parental leave supplements, and employee discounts in our stores to free counseling from psychologists, lawyers, and economists, as well as numerous offers via our benefits portal. Naturally, you are also covered by collective agreements and a pension plan. We enable fair pay within the company through a non-discriminatory pay system.
