About the role

As a Junior Production Planner, you will have a broad role where you gradually learn the entire chain from demand to finished product. You work in a supportive team of seven people and build a wide network by collaborating cross-functionally with several different departments.

Responsibilities

The role involves operational responsibility for synchronizing production, material availability, and demand to ensure an efficient flow throughout the entire supply chain.

• Plan production based on demand forecasts
• Ensure that the right materials and components are in place for production
• Conduct Demand Planning to predict future sales needs
• Responsible for inventory control of both raw materials and finished goods
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as sales, procurement, and production
• Analyze flows and figures to optimize the planning process
• Contribute to continuous improvements in planning and logistics processes

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Economics, or equivalent considered relevant
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Basic knowledge of analysis and experience working with numbers
• Enjoy collaborating and building relationships with many different functions
• Ability to work in a structured manner and interest in process improvements

It is an advantage if you have:

• Good knowledge of SAP
• Previous experience in production planning or material planning
