We are strengthening our department "Grid and Station Maintenance" with a Preparation Engineer (Beredare).

Grid and Station Maintenance is an expert organization specializing in fault rectification and maintenance for local and regional grids. We handle emergency fault rectification as well as planned maintenance work involving cables, overhead lines, and substations, ordered by customers in the greater Stockholm area.

ABOUT THE ROLE Your work is varied, and you will work both in the field (forests, open land) and in urban environments, as well as in the office. You will have ongoing contact with landowners, customers, and authorities. Your task is to quality-assure and develop Omexom's technical solutions and work documentation for the power grid, based on customer requirements. The work involves both technical and administrative aspects, where you act as a key link between production teams, landowners, authorities, and other stakeholders.

Travel is occasionally required for visits to landowners and customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing documentation, feasibility studies, and necessary documents prior to the execution of maintenance measures and smaller projects.
• Quality-assuring preparations according to EBR standards and customer requirements, and providing technical support during various phases of the projects.
• Developing technical solutions.
• Handling material orders.
• Maintaining ongoing contact with landowners, customers, and authorities.

The position of Preparation Engineer is based in Stockholm, and you will report to the Business Manager. This is a permanent position with a six (6) month probation period.

This position is security-classified. In accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585), a background check and security interview will be conducted prior to employment.

YOUR PROFILE We are looking for you who have at least three (3) years of experience in preparing construction projects for power lines, cable boxes, and grid substations. You have an electrical engineering education from a university college or equivalent, and you are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Additionally, you have good computer skills and a valid B-driver's license.

You have experience and good knowledge of EBR Standards and systems such as NETBAS or DP-Power.

We are looking for someone who drives their work independently with good planning. You are well aware of the importance of finding technical solutions that are safe to execute in the field. To find the best technical solutions, you have strong analytical skills and can identify solutions that match the business and customer needs. You are accustomed to collaborating with various types of people.
