Do you want to be part of a dynamic workplace where you, together with competent colleagues, truly make a difference for a sustainable and shining Sweden? Then this might be the job for you.

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for investment projects for high-voltage power lines. You will represent Svenska Kraftnät as the client and be responsible for the project's time, cost, and results. The role may encompass both the planning/design phase and the construction phase.

This recruitment is shared among several project management units. We are looking for Project Managers regardless of whether you prefer to work in the early or late phases of infrastructure projects.

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for procuring and leading the project team and the project's suppliers through the various phases of the project. You are expected to make decisions and drive the work forward together with other project members and consultants. You also have responsibility for occupational health and safety and electrical safety.

During the planning and design phases, great emphasis is placed on permit issues and communication with the project's various stakeholders. As a Project Manager, in both the early and late phases of the project, you are responsible for steering and leading a project team consisting of sub-project managers within areas such as permits and land access, as well as support and expert functions. The work often involves weighing different parameters against each other and making prioritizations in a changing world and organization.

At Svenska Kraftnät, we have a common way of working where everyone is involved in the development of the business, and where you as an employee are encouraged to contribute to the improvement and development of routines and processes.

You will belong to the Management Projects department, which is represented at Svenska Kraftnät's headquarters in Sundbyberg as well as at the various local offices in Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Sollefteå, Luleå, and Västerås.
