Responsibilities

You will teach Home Economics and Consumer Science for grades 4–9, work in teams, and the position also includes mentorship duties alongside a colleague.

You will independently plan, implement, and develop teaching based on curricula, subject plans, and current guidelines. You take responsibility for student outcomes and needs, adapting teaching to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. You involve students in the learning process and strengthen their ability to take responsibility for their own learning, both individually and in collaboration with others.

You make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities and encouraging creativity and curiosity. You demonstrate to each student, clearly and consistently, that they can succeed in all aspects of school life!

You participate in the work team's joint planning, development work, and collegial discussions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a qualified teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Science.
• have high ambitions for student learning and goal achievement. You possess strong pedagogical insight, are clear in your leadership, and are committed to creating conditions for every student to develop and reach their full potential. You stimulate and motivate students to develop their skills and create opportunities for learning.
• are structured in your planning, well-versed in the school's guidelines, and knowledgeable about documentation requirements.
• are a secure and stable person with good self-awareness. You are a clear and present leader in the classroom who builds trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You value collaboration and actively contribute to a positive work climate.
• work in a structured and efficient manner, can prioritize and organize your work, and have the ability to analyze and develop both your teaching and the other duties included in the teaching role.
• are an engaged colleague who sees opportunities, is eager for challenges, and values good relationships.
