Licensed Teacher for Grades Pre-K to 3 (F-3)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to recruit a new employee who can teach in the pre-school class (förskoleklass) and in the subject of Technology.

If you are educated and licensed as a teacher and/or have experience teaching, primarily in grades F-3 but also in Technology at the lower secondary level, you are the person we are looking for.

The school you are applying to is in a state of constant development. Teachers here should burn with the desire to impart knowledge. You are as interested in education as you are in general upbringing. You are a role model, both as a knowledge provider in your subjects and by motivating our students with good general knowledge and upbringing.

About the Workplace

Vasalundsskolan will be a standalone primary school (Grades Pre-K to 6) with approximately 320 students starting this autumn. The school is located next to the Lundsbäck colony area in the beautiful and green Vasatorp in Helsingborg, easily accessible by car or public transport.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher for the earlier years of primary school (F-3) and who can also teach Technology. You will be attached to the pre-school class together with two capable colleagues, but you will also have some teaching in Technology in your role.

We would like you to contribute with engagement, creativity, and a drive to develop the operations. You meet every student with respect and attentiveness. You must have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a teacher here, you work to create a safe, fun, and educational school. You possess good leadership skills to create good conditions for a positive learning environment together with your students. You should be able to handle challenges from students but also rejoice in their successes.

As a person, you are solution-focused, unpretentious, and flexible, and you are computer literate. In your work approach, you are result- and development-oriented. Furthermore, you create sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues due to your good cooperation skills.
