We are looking for an IT Coordinator who will be part of our existing coordinator function and, together with the rest of the team, drive the development of our IT environment to ensure that the operations have efficient, stable, and user-friendly IT solutions.

As an IT Technical Coordinator, you will become part of an established function and work in close collaboration with the operations, the IT department's teams, and other coordinators.

Responsibilities

As an IT Technical Coordinator, you will, among other things, work with the teams in the IT department to plan activities and lifecycle management of user-centric technology and contribute to streamlining our deliveries and internal processes. You will work both within internal IT administration and participate in projects and procurements to ensure IT technology requirements are met.

Examples of tasks include:

• Coordinating IT assignments both within the unit and towards other operations.
• Planning, driving, and following up on activities within IT technology and the IT workplace.
• Streamlining and improving IT deliveries within IT technology and operations.
• Developing, improving, and following up on internal IT processes, routines, and administration.
• Checking and following up on contracts, licenses, and orders with suppliers.

Qualifications

We want you to have post-secondary education with a focus on IT or other education or experience considered equivalent.

You must also have:

• Several years of work experience with support, installation, and administration of user-centric IT technology.
• Experience in administering and driving improvements of processes and routines within IT.
• Good technical knowledge of user-centric IT components such as printers, clients, operating systems, M365, mobile phones, and video conferencing systems.
• Good verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Worked as a process manager within ITIL or as an IT-adjacent administration manager.
• Experience with IT architecture or IT requirement specification in procurements.

Conditions

We offer you a permanent full-time position starting with a probationary period.

Due to the nature of the operations, you cannot work from home, but we hope this instead contributes to a clearer division between work and leisure. With us, you get up to 35 days of vacation depending on age. You get the opportunity to train during working hours and a favorable wellness allowance.

The position is security-classified, and we therefore conduct a security check with register control according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. The employment includes an obligation to be war-placed.

About Us

At the Conscription and Assessment Authority (Plikt- och prövningsverket), we work to make Sweden safer. Our main task is to muster, enroll in basic training, and register personnel in the war organization. We also conduct tests and assessments for other authorities, such as the Police and the National Defence University.
