As a Network Technician, you will become part of the NMC team within Operation Technology. The team is today an established and central part of the daily work with monitoring and developing the electricity network's communication infrastructure. To meet the continued need and free up time for their senior specialists, they are now looking for another network-interested talent who wants to kickstart or take the next step in their career. In this role, you have a varied and responsible assignment divided between daily operations and exciting development projects. Ellevio has a unified network built with Cisco equipment that secures communication all the way before it reaches the electrical facilities. This means that you not only receive alarms, but you actively work with incidents, changes, optimization, and troubleshooting in the network itself.

Key Responsibilities
- Handles incidents and operations in NMC: Receives, analyzes, and troubleshoots incoming alarms and fault reports via phone and email according to ITIL.
- Responsible for remote troubleshooting and escalation: Solves network problems directly from the control center or forwards complex cases to external partners.
- Actively works with development and construction in the Cisco environment.
- Participates in development projects and documentation: Contributes to various projects and eventually performs acceptance tests and EDCN documentation.
- Participates in network management such as configuration changes, patching, and updates.
- Responsible together with the rest of the team for purchasing equipment and subscriptions, as well as keeping order in the spare parts inventory.
We are looking for you who
- Have a post-secondary education in the field, such as systems science, network technology, or similar
- Have good network competence, acquired through education, work experience, or personal interest
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English
- Hold Swedish citizenship as the position is security classified
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience/knowledge within Cisco
- Network competence combined with experience in power systems
