We are seeking a Senior Software Architect C++

About the assignment: As a Senior Software Architect, you will play a central role in the further development of an advanced planning system with GIS functionality that is facing major upgrades. The focus lies on long-term architectural decisions, system performance, and maintainability.

You will work closely with development teams and product owners, providing strategic and technical leadership while also contributing operationally to the architecture work. Development takes place in an environment with continuous integration and high demands on quality, performance, and robustness, including technical challenges related to distributed systems and calculations on circuit boards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and establish solution proposals for technical architecture

• Create, review, and update system and architecture documentation

• Conduct concept studies prior to technical decisions

• Ensure a cohesive and sustainable overall architecture

• Collaborate with agile product owners regarding the prioritization of technical implementations

• Coach and support development teams on architecture and design issues

• Cooperate with external suppliers and partners

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in software development

• At least 3 years of experience as a software architect or equivalent

• Very strong knowledge of C++

• Experience with agile working methods

• Experience with high-performance computer systems, distributed systems, or similar technically advanced environments

• Ability to work strategically and long-term with system architecture

• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Merits:

• Experience with Ada and/or CUDA

Additional information:

• Scope: Full-time

• Assignment period: Start by agreement, runs until the end of the year with possibility of extension

• Security clearance required according to current regulations
