Driven by seeing your ideas come to life? Welcome to our exciting and technology-intensive world.
Your Role
We are looking for an engaged embedded software developer to join an exciting integration project within the development of an advanced long-range missile system.
In close collaboration with your colleagues, you will contribute your skills and experience to the team's collective success. At the same time, you will receive support, development opportunities, and room to grow in your role. You will also work with international partners, giving you new perspectives and opening the door to exciting ideas and opportunities.
You will be involved throughout the entire development cycle and engage in various parts of the process, including system work, requirements management, design, testing and verification, documentation, debugging, and delivery.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have a university degree in a relevant field and a genuine interest in technology and software development. You enjoy working together with others to solve complex problems and like to quickly get up to speed with new systems and environments. With a solution-oriented approach, you find sustainable and effective solutions, regardless of technology or platform.
We believe you have a few years of experience in software development and feel comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments. You work preferably in C++ and have a good understanding of how software interacts with underlying systems. You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
You are accustomed to working in teams, preferably in agile contexts, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and joint development. You have a good ability to structure your work and communicate clearly, both in everyday life and in meetings and presentations. At the same time, you have strong problem-solving skills and thrive in cross-functional collaborations where you drive the work forward together.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
Please note that we work with ongoing selection and the position may be filled before the final application date has passed.
