System Engineer for Hammarö Municipality

Job Description

In the role of System Engineer, you will work with the operation and lifecycle management of systems and clients. You will also work proactively with our IT security solutions. You will be a key part of further developing the IT infrastructure, contributing to the development of secure IT environments, and providing support to other operations regarding IT security.

You will work in a team characterized by teamwork spirit and collaboration, with great opportunities to develop together with us. You will participate in challenging and developmental assignments both independently and together with others in the group.

Qualifications

In the role of System Engineer, we are looking for you with good communication and collaboration skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities. You have genuine technical IT competence with insight and understanding of components in modern IT infrastructure environments.

We are looking for you with experience in:

  • IT operations
  • Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Networking and network services such as DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • VMware virtualization
  • Scripting skills, e.g., PowerShell

It is particularly interesting if you have experience with:

  • Implementing and maintaining IT security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus programs, and encryption
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, etc.
  • Google Workspace/G-Suite
  • Linux
  • Federation/SAML

You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. A Category B driver's license is required.
