Description

The IT department consists of approximately 50 dedicated employees, organized into three units. Together, we are responsible for the municipality's shared IT infrastructure and deliver IT services to the entire organization.

We work with daily support, maintaining and developing our services – while also acting as a strategic partner in the municipality's operational development, where digitalization is a key tool. We deliver our IT services using agile working methods.

We are now looking for an analytical and driven Solutions Architect for our unit, IT Project Office. Responsibilities

As a Solutions Architect with us, you will play a key role in translating business needs and requirements into sustainable technical solutions. You will work closely with both the business operations and the IT department's various teams to guide and contribute to ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

You will:

  • Design and document solution architecture for new and existing systems
  • Participate in projects and initiatives from idea to implementation
  • Ensure that solutions comply with the municipality's IT strategy, architecture principles, and security requirements
  • Provide advisory support on technical matters and contribute to competence development within the organization

Join the "Architecture and Test Management" team as one of several architects and test managers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role
  • Good understanding of integration solutions, cloud services, and modern architectural patterns
  • Ability to lead the dialogue between business, IT, and suppliers, as well as communicate and create consensus regarding technical solutions
  • Relevant academic education in IT or equivalent experience
  • Good communication skills, proficiency in expressing yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Merits:

  • Experience working with frameworks such as Arkitekturgemenskapen, TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, Scrum, ITIL
  • Experience with modeling and modeling tools, preferably Sparx Enterprise Architect
  • Experience with public procurement
  • Experience with agile working methods
  • Experience with change management
  • Knowledge of information security and data protection
