Our research and development department, located in Hagfors, is the largest in the world within the tool steel industry.

We are now looking for a Lean Coach to join our team at UPS (Uddeholm Production System).

About the role

Together with five driven colleagues, you will form a team that supports the organization in implementing the management philosophy: UPS.

What does the role involve?

You will become part of a proactive team where collaboration and communication are key parts of the work. As a UPS Coach, you play a vital role in inspiring, educating, and contributing to a culture that creates engagement and involvement throughout the company. By being attuned to the business's needs, you drive the implementation of the production system with a focus on processes, flows, and methods that need improvement.

The role offers great variety, blending coaching management groups and employees to achieve results with analysis, strategic planning, improvement projects, and activities. You will see large parts of our production facility and gain broad organizational knowledge.

Together with your group, you will develop and improve methods and tools.

Your profile

To thrive in this role, you need a genuine interest in people, strong communication and pedagogical skills, the ability to keep track of details while also seeing the big picture in relation to our strategy. You are meticulous, structured, and have good administrative skills. As a person, you enjoy challenges, are engaged, and like working with others. You are results- and service-oriented and focus on continuous improvement. You thrive with personal responsibility, are unafraid of new situations, and have the ability to handle changing circumstances. Since the role involves supporting the entire organization in implementing and developing the production system, from management down to the entire operation, great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

We expect you to have a post-secondary education or equivalent competence acquired in other ways. You are accustomed to working towards set goals and delivering on time. You have experience with LEAN methodology. Good computer skills, especially in MS365, are a great advantage, and previous work experience in a managerial position is highly meritorious. As we are a global company communicating in Swedish and English, your language skills should be good in both speech and writing.

The position is located in Hagfors.
