Do you want to be part of developing Sweden's leading local cleaning operations?
We are now looking for a Strategy Specialist in Business Development to join our Operational Excellence (OpEx) team within the Local Cleaning Business Area.
The business area offers local cleaning services to customers of all sizes across Sweden. With thousands of employees, we improve our customers' working environment every day, all year round. We are on an exciting development journey where digitalization, innovation, AI, and data-driven decision-making are becoming increasingly important to meet future demands and opportunities.
OpEx is the engine for continuous development and improvement within the Local Cleaning Business Area.
OpEx is responsible, among other things, for:
- Driving strategic change and development initiatives
- Developing and standardizing processes and working methods
- Identifying and realizing efficiency and cost-saving opportunities
- Implementing digital solutions and new technologies
- Ensuring that operations work in a data-driven manner with a focus on customer value
About the role
As a senior business developer, you work closely with management and operations to identify development opportunities and drive initiatives and projects that strengthen our competitiveness and delivery capability.
You will, among other things:
- Lead and drive strategic development projects from idea to implementation
- Analyze operations, processes, and key figures to identify improvement potential
- Prepare decision support materials and recommendations for management and steering groups
- Support the organization in change and improvement work
- Contribute to the development of the business area's long-term strategy
- Collaborate with business managers, specialists, and other functions within Coor
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who combines analytical skills with a business-oriented approach. You thrive in a role where you get to think strategically and contribute to execution.
We believe you have:
- An academic degree in fields such as economics, industrial economics, or equivalent
- At least five years of documented experience from an internal business development function, management consulting, or equivalent
- Experience in driving strategic projects
- Strong analytical skills and experience working in a data-driven manner
- Experience with process and standardization thinking: able to describe, simplify, and standardize how work is performed, not just describe the current state
- Experience in systematic problem solving and continuous improvement work (e.g., according to A3, PDCA, or DMAIC models)
- Comfortable setting up, developing, and working with key figures, with a good understanding of how to translate results into action to stabilize and develop operations
- Very good communication skills in Swedish and English
Personality and attitude:
- A passion and drive for operational excellence/lean, believing in the development potential of people and operations, and the power of standardization and continuous improvement
- Interest and curiosity to create understanding of operations: methods, standards, and what actually works in practice, with credibility among both supervisors and employees
- Ability to build capability in others through training, coaching, and development
- Ability to think both holistically and in detail: can translate overarching business goals into concrete daily work on the floor and vice versa
- Good communicator: makes the complex understandable for different target groups, from management to employees
- Can lead through influence rather than solely formal authority
- Pragmatic problem solver who understands that an improvement initiative that gets implemented creates more value and learning than a perfect solution that gets stuck in the design/idea stage
Experience from the FM industry is highly meritorious but not a requirement.
