Vasafiskerian is a Swedish e-commerce company selling top-quality fish, shellfish, and roe, with direct home delivery. We are a small, entrepreneurial team that dares to think big, and we are now looking for a Customer Service Representative who wants to help build a world-class customer experience.

About the role

As a Customer Service Representative at Vasafiskerian, you will be one of the customer's most important points of contact. You will handle daily customer support via email, chat, and phone, and be responsible for following up on and responding to customer reviews. You will answer comments and engage in dialogue with customers on social media. You will work proactively on customer satisfaction – spotting patterns, catching improvement suggestions, and contributing to ensuring every customer receives an experience that matches the quality of our products.

Since we are a small team, we help each other out where needed. This means you will sometimes also support our warehouse shop and the warehouse together with the rest of the crew. You will report to Simon, one of our founders and head of customer service. This is a role for you who is passionate about service, enjoys variety, and wants to help shape the customer experience in a company in the midst of an exciting growth journey.

Your mission
  • Daily customer support via email, chat, and phone

  • Follow up and respond to customer reviews

  • Answer comments and engage in dialogue with customers on social media

  • Work proactively on customer satisfaction and drive improvements together with the team

  • Maintain and further develop customer email templates and process documentation

  • Support in the warehouse shop when needed, including assisting customers

  • Support in the warehouse when needed, together with the rest of the team

Who are you?

You have a genuine interest in service and customer satisfaction and thrive in a role where no two days are alike. You are structured and meticulous in your customer service work, but equally unpretentious when you need to jump in and help out in the shop or at the warehouse. You keep your cool when things are busy, and you enjoy working close to a small team where everyone's contribution is visible.

We believe you have:

  • Experience in customer service, preferably within e-commerce or B2C

  • Familiarity with working in customer service/case management systems (e.g., Gorgias)

  • Confidence in customer contact via phone, email, and chat

  • Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English

  • Experience in the fish/food industry is an advantage

Employment terms

The position is a permanent full-time role with a monthly salary and begins with a 6-month probation period.
