About the Bid Manager Role
As a Bid Manager, you will play a central role in the company's bidding process, responsible for driving and project-managing bidding processes from start to finish. You will work closely with the operations, sales organization, and management to ensure competitive, high-quality bids.
The focus is primarily on public sector procurements, but also on bids directed at private businesses with similar business processes. The role involves analyzing request for proposals (RFPs), assessing business opportunities, and leading the work through the entire bidding process, from qualification to the final bid. You will plan and monitor timelines and ensure that bids meet established requirements and are submitted on time. You also play a key role in developing and structuring the company's working methods in the bidding area, where you will have ample opportunity to build and further develop processes, routines, and templates for future work.
Your main responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities in the public and private sectors
- Drive and project-manage bidding processes from start to finish
- Write, compile, and quality-assure bidding documents
- Ensure that all requirements and criteria in the procurements are met
- Coordinate internal stakeholders throughout the bidding process
- Contribute to developing and streamlining the company's working methods, processes, and templates for bidding
About You
To succeed in the Bid Manager role, we see that you have experience in bidding within the consulting industry. If you also have experience from IT consulting, it is a plus. You thrive in a business-oriented role where you can combine project management, structure, and communication to drive bidding processes.
You are used to taking significant responsibility and feel comfortable driving multiple parallel processes simultaneously. Since the role involves many contact surfaces, we see that you have an easy time building trust and coordinating between different stakeholders. At the same time, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where you can take initiative, think new thoughts, and contribute to developing working methods and processes.
We see that you have:
- Experience in bidding within the IT consulting industry or other consulting activities
- Experience with public procurement and working with bids according to LOU (Swedish Public Procurement Act)
- Good ability to plan, prioritize, and drive multiple parallel processes with high quality
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
