About the role As a Solution Architect at Sveaskog, you will play a central role in shaping the technical direction of our Microsoft platform and our business-oriented solutions. You will work cross-functionally as a support for the business, development teams, and external suppliers.

The role covers the entire Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, web, and integrations). Operational work takes place in the teams – your task is to set the direction, develop architecture principles, and ensure that solutions are sustainable, scalable, secure, and future-proofed with modern AI technology.

We are therefore looking for you who enjoy moving between different technical areas and are motivated by seeing the big picture, making strategic choices, and helping the organization build a modern and cohesive IT architecture.

Your main tasks

• Consulting & Design: Act as a consultant and technical sounding board regarding solution architecture and strategic choices.

• Architecture Development: Create architecture for Microsoft-based solutions, integrations, and web applications.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that solutions follow design principles, target architecture, and security requirements.

• Integrations & Cloud: Drive issues within integration architecture, cloud solutions (Azure), and hybrid environments.

• AI & Innovation: Follow developments within the Microsoft ecosystem and implement new opportunities in areas such as AI (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio), Power Platform, and modern development patterns.

The position is located at one of Sveaskog's offices with good travel opportunities within Sweden.

About you You are an experienced Solution Architect who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. You have a strategic mindset, a good understanding of modern system development, and likely have a background as a developer or technical leader. You do not need to code yourself today, but you are confident in complex technical discussions.

We believe you have experience in several of the following areas:

• Solution architecture within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse).

• Microsoft AI tools: Experience with or a strong interest in Microsoft's AI offerings, such as Copilot, Azure OpenAI Service, or custom AI agents.

• Integrations, APIs, and modern integration patterns.

• Security principles, identity management, and hybrid environments.

• Web applications and business-oriented solutions.

• Experience in system development or several years of working closely with development teams in a technically leading role.

• Agile working methods, DevOps, and modern application development.

Experience with business systems is meritorious, but the most important thing is that you have a broad architectural perspective and a genuine interest in the Microsoft platform. You are curious, keep up with new technology, and are motivated by turning new AI and cloud opportunities into concrete business value.
