Your Assignment
As a Technical Intelligence Analyst with a focus on cyber threats, you will belong to a unit within the Cyber Security Office. Together, we track and identify the attackers behind the attacks. In this way, we build knowledge about their methods and motives, which is done through, among other things, reports that contribute to decisive decision-making support in critical issues. Something that helps improve Sweden's cyber defense, and you can become a part of that.
In the role of Technical Intelligence Analyst, you will have partial responsibility for defined threat actors or deliverables, but primarily your main tasks will involve:
- Building knowledge about the most qualified threat actors through technical means and methods
- Reporting our intelligence both orally and in writing
Furthermore, as a Technical Intelligence Analyst, you will also lead meetings and presentations. Travel for work purposes may occur.
You Can
We are looking for you who have:
- At least three years of experience in qualified technical work or intelligence analysis
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Experience in intelligence services, quantitative analysis work, or natural science research
- Foreign and security policy
- Analysis of cyberattacks or threat actors
- Analysis of large data sets and tools such as Elastic or Spark
- Programming, for example scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience with Linux
- CTFs or other technical challenges, such as malware, IT forensics, or network traffic
- Foreign languages in addition to English

More Information
The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will be security vetted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be mobilized in wartime.
