We are currently looking for a Project Quality Manager Configuration Management for one of our clients.
About the role
As a Project Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the overall quality lead in various types of customer projects – development projects, production projects, and aftermarket projects.
- Acting as the contact person for customers and quality representatives from other organizations.
- Ensuring that our products meet both customer quality requirements and our internal standards.
- Approving or, if necessary, rejecting deliveries.
- Developing quality plans and cascading customer requirements to other parts of the organization.
- Leading quality improvement activities, training, and supporting the organization in business development matters.
- Collaborating with various functions such as Design, Product Management, Project Management, Production, and Procurement.
You will join the quality function for the business unit Fighter Core Capabilities in Stockholm and become part of the local quality group, which consists of nine senior Project Quality Managers. Business travel may occur both nationally and internationally. The primary location is Solna, and some presence is also required at our production facility in Järfälla.
Profile
You possess the following competencies and/or experiences:
- A Master of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge and competence.
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Business systems/quality systems.
- Quality assurance and improvement work.
- Internal and external quality audits.
- Training in work processes and improvement methods.
- Working in complex projects within an international environment.
- Tools and methods for improvement work and problem solving, such as root cause analysis and value stream mapping.
To succeed in this role, you need to be operational and independent in your working style. As a person, you have high integrity, good listening and communication skills, and thrive in environments focused on continuous improvement. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and results-driven. You have the ability to think strategically while simultaneously focusing on critical details when they impact the quality of project or business deliverables.
The key to success is managing the balance between being a proactive support function while maintaining the independence and integrity of the quality function.
