At Södertälje Hospital, the Digitalization and eHealth unit is responsible for ensuring that our IT suppliers deliver services that meet the needs of healthcare operations in a secure and cost-effective manner.
Technical Application Manager (TAM) to Digitalization and eHealth at Södertälje Hospital
As a Technical Application Manager, you work with the management and further development of systems from a technical perspective to provide optimal IT support for Södertälje Hospital's operations. You provide expertise regarding the system's technical infrastructure, integrations, and technical requirements specification.
You work closely with employees in Digitalization and eHealth as well as Medical Technology (MT). Together, you form a group that develops the area and works cross-functionally, primarily in the ordering function. The role also involves close collaboration with healthcare operations and our external suppliers.
Responsibilities include, for example:
- Specifying requirements regarding infrastructure and integrations to ensure systems are optimally equipped based on operational needs.
- Establishing maintenance and activity plans.
- Planning and monitoring the budget within your area of responsibility.
- Monitoring work performed by Södertälje Hospital and the region's suppliers to ensure operational needs are met.
- Contributing to a sustainable IT environment at Södertälje Hospital.
- Leading and/or participating in IT/MT assignments.

As a person, you are self-reliant, responsible, and unpretentious. You enjoy collaborating with others, both within the unit and with other parts of the operations and our suppliers.
You have good communication skills and are adept at building new positive relationships, as well as organizing and driving work independently.

Your qualifications
Requirements:
- Relevant post-secondary education in IT or similar, along with experience in IT or experience we assess as equivalent.
- Good administrative skills, structure, and initiative.
- Developed communication skills and a service-oriented attitude for collaboration with healthcare staff.
- Documented handling of system upgrades, configuration changes, and problem management.
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

- Previous experience with systems used in healthcare as well as application management.
